Jay met the founder of J & S Mechanical in 1992, and shortly thereafter accepted a position as Project Manager with the company. Over the years, Jay has become fluent with the design/build concept for both medical and petrochemical applications. To date Jay has designed eight LEED Certified facilities associated with the medical industry as well as over twenty petrochemical related research testing laboratories and clean manufacturing projects.

Jay purchased J & S Mechanical Contractors, Inc. in February 2008, still running the company in the manner of our founder Steve Sigloch. Jay enjoys travel, and has been to many countries in both Europe and the Far East. He also enjoys following our Houston Astros, six years ago having started going to the Astros road game around the country.

Dan, as native Texan, possesses 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry beginning his career as a residential installer. By his 20's, he quickly worked his way through the ranks before becoming department manager. Dan was a service technician for J&S Mechanical in the mid-90's until his move to Austin. He has currently been with the company for 12 years servicing in different capacities. Dan considers himself a perpetual student as he consistently attended various college and universities; Texas A&M being the most recent.

Although his educational background is diverse, he will not decline a math or physics course. When AutoCAD became industry standard he taught himself how to use the program over a long weekend and is currently producing all AutoCAD designs for J&S. He prefers designing technically challenging projects that most people pass on. He encourages his employees to further their education for the sake of challenge and improved critical thinking. Dan is a holder of multiple state Licenses and a Texas AC&R Contractor's License.
